Cuisinart EPC-1200PC Review by Teacher

Bought this 6 weeks ago and have used it one to two times a week. Love the tenderness of meats and ease for cooking rice. Bought two recipe books for it as the manual does not have a lot there but a great tool for speed if you need it but mostly- turn it on set the time and cooking option and wait for the timer. Keeps food hot until you are ready. Not your mother's pressure cooker!

After a little over a month, our pressure cooker failed in exactly the same way as the other reviewer described. It got up to pressure, and immediately switched to warming. I tried everything - cleaned the gaskets, etc. Tried powering it down and then up, but nothing worked. This one is going back - and being replaced with a simple cook top model.

It worked for the 1st 10 times and then it would get up to pressure and then click to keep warm. In reading reviews sounds like other had the same problem.
